Chapter one
Outside: paper on the glass, then the paint.
Their own exterior checklist reads like a list of things that go wrong when nobody plans. Seasonal weather changes, color that suits the existing brick or siding, and a look that sits right beside the neighbors’ houses all get weighed before a ladder goes up. Then comes the prep: power washing, sanding and scuffing, filling, caulking, taping, and protection for the landscape and furniture.
Rich Eaton hired the crew to paint his house around 2013. He wrote that “The paint was still in really good shape after 13 years,” and in April 2026 he called Josh back to repaint it, on time and on budget by his account. A customer who hires the same painter twice, thirteen years apart, has said most of what an About page tries to say.
