Additional services

Walls need washing, patching and sometimes rebuilding before they take paint. Josh Reeves’s crew does that work too, for homes and businesses around Lindale, Tyler and Longview. Three pages cover it, and the painting itself lives under painting services.

Chapter one

Pressure washing

Side gable of a brick ranch with a ladder against the wall, an exterior job in progress

A brick ranch exterior. Power washing sits near the top of their exterior prep list.

The cleaning crews run high performance industrial hot water machines, and the job can be a single walkway or a whole complex, commercial or residential. Power washing also appears on both the interior and the exterior lists of the painting crew, so a wall is often clean before the first coat is even discussed.

Bath remodels

Finished hall bath with a dark double vanity, a large mirror and sage green walls
The finished hall bath: dark painted vanities against sage walls.
Bathroom during tile demolition with the walls covered in plastic sheeting
Tile out, walls under poly.
Bathroom mid-job with blue tape on the trim, the vanity wrapped in plastic and one wall already sage green
Taped, wrapped, first sage wall up.

A remodel looks like organized chaos, and their own page says the operative word is organized. The album from this hall bath runs in order: tile demolition behind plastic, blue tape and a wrapped vanity, then dark painted vanities, sage walls, new mirrors and lights and a tile floor. Painters who also remodel know where the mess goes before it starts.

Chapter three

Drywall, plaster & insulation

The same bedroom finished, with a smooth tray ceiling and a ceiling fan
A bedroom tented in clear plastic for ceiling work, the ceiling fan bagged
Under the sheet: the bedroom tented for ceiling work. Peeled back: the same room finished.
A ceiling skim coat drying inside a room walled in plastic sheeting
A skim coat drying behind poly.

Plaster repairs and the installation and removal of drywall are on the crew’s own interior list, and insulation installation is named on their home page next to pressure washing. Holes and cracks get repaired as part of prep before any paint goes on. Their tip for a small patch is to fill it with spackle on a wide, flat blade, let it dry, sand it smooth and prime each spot.

They have not written up insulation jobs in detail, so ask Josh what your building needs when you call.
